Simply Delicious! Cherry Pie Demonstration at Macy’s
Eatonville Restaurant’s Chef Rafael Nuñez and I did our best Jacques and Julia for Cherry Blossom Festival Family Day (April 5, 2014) at Macy’s Metro Center store in Washington, DC. Chef Rafael demonsrated cherry pie making with a lattice top crust. Attendees picked up copies of the prize-winning recipes from the Makes-Me-Wanna SHOUT! Baking Challenge, including the 2013 winning vinegar pie (with the King Arthur flour pie crust). According to Chef Rafael frozen cherries will give you the pie of your dreams.
